No BioD in NY

According to Mensur Serifovic and the New York Post, there isn’t a single gas station in New York City that pumps biodiesel.

Wake up, New York! Availability of biodiesel to the same degree of petroleum diesel in key in adoption.

While you’re busy with that, someone will figure out the feedstock problem if they haven’t already.

YouTube’s video content is not so easily matched with relevant ads; it’s hard to know what an audience drawn to a free video of someone’s cat drinking from a toilet bowl might also want to buy.

Why do we insulate our attics?

Here’s why:
Diagram showing heating energy decreased by 59 THERMs since this period last year.

Last winter our attic was poorly insulted, but it recently acquired a new warm fuzzy lining!

Therms are apparently hundreds of cubic feet (of liquified natural gas, I guess) multiplied by a “BTU factor” of 1.0722.

Most Popular Cameras on Flickr

When you take a digital photo, your camera probably stores information right in the photo about your camera make/model, aperture setting, shutter speed and the like. Flickr appears to make use of this information and publishes statistics on which cameras folks use. Canon PowerShot seems to rule the point n’ shoot arena.
